Quality is everything when it comes to printing your photographs. We put our confidence in One Vision Imaging to provide the professional and award winning results that make them a leading European printer and our printer of choice.
We have a number of options when it comes to purchasing photographs but it is all carried out through our secure online purchasing system.
To get started either click on the ‘My Gallery‘ button at the top of the page or, if you have been given a proofing gallery code providing access to a specific gallery, click on ‘Proofing Login‘ and enter the code on the next page.
You have three main options at that point. You can browse through any of the photographs online, opt to purchase a downloadable version of the picture which you can then use and print as you wish or you can purchase professional quality prints directly through us. More details on each of these options are shown below.
Browsing a Gallery & Displaying a SlideshowOnce your gallery is displayed, you can start an impromptu slideshow by clicking the ‘Slideshow’ button in the top right hand corner of the screen. This will ‘dim the lights’ and allow you to view and assess the pictures in a more user friendly way. This is great for selecting the pictures you may wish to order.
Purchasing A Downloadable CopyAn original full resolution copy of a digital print is the ultimate. Once you have that, you can do pretty much what you want with it within copyright laws. You can print it, send it on etc. That’s why a full resolution digital download carries a high price (rate varies on Friends and Family folder). However, here you have 3 price options. You can download the original, a 5 megapixel version or a 1 megapixel ‘web use only’ version. The last of these option is low in cost but not much use for printing. Our ‘Friends and Family’ galleries allow the download of high quality prints for free.
Purchase PrintsWhen you purchase prints through tdcat.com, you are not only paying for a professional standard printing lab (One Vision Imaging) but also for the photograph itself. This raises the cost from the standard price you may expect from e.g. Photobox. Print wise, it is more expensive but, as a professional lab, they offer colour correction options and superb colour reproduction. Basically, you get what you pay for. As for the photo part, we hope that you are willing to part with some money for the actual photo itself if it is something that you have chosen from a whole album and a photograph that you feel is special enough to print and display. If you go down this route tdcat.com will receive about 50% of the sale price of each photo. The rest will go to the lab, shipping and fees.
The FutureIn the future we will introduce more options for purchase of prints. For now, we have digital downloads and the main sizes of glossy, matt and metallic prints. Coming soon we will introduce canvas prints, table prints and acrylics as an option. We will also expand the size of our standard print options to A0 and larger!
