VIDEO COLLECTION – SONY PXW-Z90

Let me explain the title. Camcorders are out of fashion. Despite the huge flexibility and functionality they offer, they are not currently the camera to have.  The Sony Z90 offers so much but I doubt it will ever sell as many units as it could because it remains a purchase for those who know they need it rather than those who think they want it.

This is a review of the PXW-Z90 looking at the standout good and bad points for me after a couple of weeks of use.

I have also created a number of other videos looking at different aspects of the camera including…

  1. SLOW MOTION
  2. S-LOG3
  3. SAMPLE CLIPS
  4. GRADED MONTAGE
  5. 2 MONTH UPDATE & STABILIZATION

These can all be found on my YouTube channel on the Sony PXW-Z90 playlist.

If you have any questions about the camera, please feel free to get in touch here on the website or alternatively just comment on the video and I’ll do my best to respond. Alternatively, if you would like some sample footage to try on your system, let me know.

I’m thinking of getting this camera, for wildlife video, loving some of the slow motion I’ve seen on U-tube just wondering how is the image quality I will check out your U-tube channel, thanks

      Hi Mike,

I really can’t complement this camera enough. It can create truly stunning image quality and still surprises me over a year later. It clearly wouldn’t suit a filmmaker as much as the FS5 or FS7 (to quote Sony equivalents) but I imagine it would be great for wildlife given the portability and reach. The Sony AX53 is pretty good too and is even more portable.

      TD.
