Worth Upgrading? iPhone 11 Pro Max

WHY DO I EVEN OWN AN IPHONE 11 PRO?

I work for a mobile phone company and one of the perks is being able to get the latest phones at a great price. That's my excuse for owning the flagship iPhone in 2019/2020, the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Of course, I love the tech, but how a device like this can ever be worth £1,300 is beyond me. It seems to have become the norm for many to spend £100 / month on a mobile phone contract (the required amount to repay a phone like this in the contract duration). Not all of us are into phones and the image or statement associated with having the latest device. For many of us, it's something we use to do many, many jobs but ultimately they could be done equally well on a much cheaper iPhone 7 or similar Android device.

WHAT'S IN THE VIDEO?

So, as an average 40-year-old user and not my 12-year-old niece who appears strangely in awe at the fact that I own this amazing top of the range device, is this phone worth the upgrade? This is an unbiased and honest look at the iPhone 11 Pro from someone who isn't trying to justify a purchase and isn't being paid to promote Apple products.

I use a phone to get things done not as a fashion statement. I pay bills, transfer money, tweet, message friends, take pictures of my kids, order takeaway, watch Netflix, read the news, track my partner, order taxis and check the weather. You know, boring stuff. If you're this person, why bother upgrading to the latest iPhone? Surely your iPhone 6, 7, 8 or whatever is doing this just fine.

That's what I'm talking about in this video.
