Just some love for the Retevis RT22 (RT622 for the PMR446 version in the UK and EU) walkie-talkie which has found a new lease of life in our house recently.

The RT22 isn’t the best walkie-talkie out there. There are better performers, tougher radios and waterproof radios. However, If you’re a parent and you’d like to stay in touch with your kids while they ride out of view and you need a radio that works, these are perfect.

They’re a good price (which basically means low) and they hook simply and reliably onto any clothing or backpack. They’re so lightweight that they don’t pull.
