Sony XDR-P1DBP DAB+ Unboxing

SONY STILL BUILD BEAUTIFUL PRODUCTS

The rather clumsily named XDR-P1DBP has been out since 2015 and has established itself as a tiny yet capable DAB+ radio. For many, a radio of this type will no longer have a place in their life. Why do you need a radio when you can happily stream radio on your phone? I agree, however, don't underestimate the usefulness of having a portable radio around the house. Sometimes it's better to keep things simple.

I have a nostalgic place in my heart for these beautifully designed Sony radios that have current technology but still carry the functional and simple look that Sony products had in the 1990s. A wonderful amber lit LCD and a black matt plastic with an old skool speaker grill.

It's such a nice looking bit of kit and works well too. I couldn't resist buying one to show on the channel.

WHAT’S IN THE VIDEO

An unboxing and closeup look around the Sony XDR-P1DBP DAB/FM digital radio. This radio has to be one of the smallest and cutest of this kind I have seen.
