The Best Podcast Mic - Rode Broadcaster

IT’S EITHER THE RØDE OR THE SHURE

In this video I’m giving you a demo and my first impressions of the Rode Broadcaster condenser mic.

There are just a few end-address microphones that are recognised across the broadcast & podcast industry and this is one of them. It’s up there with the Shure SM7B and this mic has a lovely unique sound and is used in studios throughout the world for broadcasting and podcasting.

This video is mainly to let you listen to the Rode Broadcaster. The whole video is recorded with this mic so you should be able to get a good idea of whether you like it or not. I'm chatting about the specs of the mic and what I like and don't like. This isn’t a full review but listening to a mic is arguably the best review you can have.

DON’T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT

I’ve been a listener of Radio 538 since 1992. I was happy to see that they use the Rode Broadcaster in their studios. If it’s good for them, that’s a decent recommendation.
